A while back, I was watching television, and someone mentioned that decanting wine (even cheap wine!) is one of the best ways to increase your wine-drinking pleasure. Now even if decanting didn’t improve your wine’s taste, it would still be really cool. The fact that it can really help mellow and balance your wine (especially more tannic reds) is just a bonus.
I love pouring a boring bottle of wine into a spectacular glass decanter and setting it up with it’s own cozy spot on our table. You should try it! I’ll bet you’ll love it, too. Be forewarned: you may find yourself decanting apple juice, milk, anything just to use all of your ever-growing decanter collection.

that is such a good-looking collection! I’ve never given decanting a go, the wine never lasts long enough to get into another container that’s not my mouth! Should do though. Thanks for your comment and your tweet! x
[...] is right. Decanting things is hella fun. What’s my favorite thing to decant, you ask? Chocolate [...]
Hajaaraharhaha! Heck, you don’t even really need wine glasses — straight from bottle to mouth, if you ask me! But decanting other beverages can be just as fun. Even water looks nicer if you’re pouring it out of a decanter.
This makes me think I need a decanter. Hint: Mother’s Day is next month.
We’re gonna get you more decanters than you know what to do with!!!
