If you’ve heard of The Working Proof already, it’s for good reason. The online print shop has received some well deserved praise and press from some of my favorite design blogs. So I was deeply intrigued (and flattered!) when I found a sweet and unassuming email in my inbox from Anna, one of the co-founders, letting me know about one of their freshly released prints that she thought I might be interested in. Needless to say, I was interested. You had me at hello, Anna. You had me at hello.
Through a series of limeted-edition prints — a new one is released every Tuesday — The Working Proof seeks to promote both art and social responsibility. According to their site, “each print is paired with a charity of the artist’s choice, to which we are donating 15% of the sale of each print – creating what we believe to be a product with not just aesthetic, but social value.” Umm… can I call this a win-win-win? It benefits the artist, the charity AND my art-barren bedroom wall!

Not only is their mission of social responsibility compelling, but I’m also blown away with the quality of artistic work they promote. I recognized several of my favorite artists, including Samantha Hahn, Jacqueline Bos (who you might recognize from this post or this one) and even Justin Richel (who kindly donated a print for our first giveaway). And within a few minutes of browsing the other prints, I quickly found a few new favorites. Which print do you like best?

Burden, by Samantha Hahn. Loving the prints! Especially this one.

@Sarah: I think you should try to answer more questions with “baby in a bucket”.
