
As I mentioned earlier, Louisville isn’t all that far from Chicago. What makes this even more interesting is that it also has better weather. While we’ve been breaking out our jackets (and coats, in Sarah’s case) up north, a shirt was all that was needed while walking in the Kentucky sun. Luckily, this weather allowed us to explore Cave Hill Cemetery (on Halloween eve!) and Cherokee Park.

While Colonel Sanders is supposedly laid to rest somewhere in the massive cemetery, we couldn’t find him. However, we did find some very friendly fowl—geese, quacky ducks, and stalker swans—and a creepy, eye-inhabiting spider!

Oh, and in Cherokee Park, I remembered that swings are really awesome. Please, go swing!

Then we lived happily ever after… until Sarah found some vintage stores, and then she lived even happilier ever after.
