Over the weekend I took a trip, sans Sarah (she had to work), down to St. Louis. It seemed like years since I’d spent any time there, and it had definitely been years since I’d seen some of my high school friends. But this wasn’t a high school reunion. This was a ramble in the dark. What exactly is a ramble in the dark, you ask? Well it’s an excuse to get a group of people together and build a giant bonfire whilst listening to some live rock and roll music.

If you are still not convinced from the photos above how awesome music + giant bonfire is, check out this ridiculously epic video. Imagine stoking a fire with whole tree trunks you’ve just withered to the ground through sheer sonics. Believe.
Awesome! I hadn’t really realized the spontaneous metal-ness of the evening until Catholic Guilt started playing.
