Every year you can count on getting at least one pair of socks for Christmas, and every year you are probably pretty happy that you have a new pair of socks. After all, socks are important, and you’re pretty lucky to have a brand new pair. But did you know that you don’t have to wear white Hanes socks all the time? There is a better way. Daily Pretties: Is this what you dream of?
Today will be a day of black and white. And little else. Why? Perhaps because it’s time for your rods to give your cones a break. Everyone needs a vacation, even your photoreceptor cells (thank you introductory neuroscience class). Perhaps it’s a desperate attempt on my part to simplify. Am I stubbornly fighting to make everything clear and easy? Or maybe it’s just a coincidence that all the images I picked for today happen to be devoid of color. Who’s to say.
