I might have already found my tie for the wedding, but it was a difficult decision, and along the way I found a lot of really great ties and tie shops that I had never heard of before. I currently have three options to choose for a wedding tie. The latest member of the collection is this lovely little bow tie from General Knot & Co. Now, I haven’t worn a bow tie since I collected toy trains and rocked a milk mustache, and I certainly never had one that wasn’t a clip-on. It’s been a bit of a learning experience, but I’m definitely getting better at tying it.
Whether or not I decide to wear this particular tie on our wedding day, I have to say that it is a pretty amazing tie. First off, the packaging was superb. The box and the enclosed envelope really set the perfect tone. The tie itself has a vintage floral print on one side and a blue chambray on the other, making it completely reversible. And since each tie is made from reclaimed materials, there are a limited number of each design–mine is one out of only two! Plus the size is adjustable thanks to the patented adjustolox system. It’s pretty great.
