Initially I thought milk liqueur sounded kind of gross, and then I realized it might just be a cream liqueur, which sounded boring. Well, I was wrong on all accounts. This milk liqueur recipe comes together pretty easily—most of the work is remembering to shake the container everyday for ten days—and it tastes pretty darn good. Once finished, it has a honeyed apple juice color, and over ice, it tastes very sweet with a buttery chocolate finish. So far I’ve only tried it over ice, but I’m anxious to see what other concoctions I can create.
