Another giveaway! Another chance to pick your favorite! Another opportunity to add a little beauty to your life! Another talented friend I’ve made
. Alex Creswell is a crafty, creative lady, and I think she should come to Chicago and eat cupcakes with me. Between finishing up a degree in photography, freelancing as an events photographer, blogging, selling vintage and her prints, Alex can now add gift-giving to her list of activities. She’s giving away one 8″x10″ photo print from her shop Pipe & Pepper Prints.

Like a volatile lover, Chicago has turned cold again. But the freezing wind isn’t hampering my annual craving for peach sherbet. It’s just forcing me to eat said treat inside… while drooling over Etsy and its many candy-colored sweets.

Mama Ervin’s feeling pretty good these days. Why, you ask? Well it just so happens that she’s doing pretty well at her new job. So much so that her boss made sure to let her know just how appreciative she is of Mama Ervin’s good work. Pat-on-the-back received!

I regret to inform you that posting might be a bit short for the next several days. I’ve got personal business (or “bidness” as I like to say) to take care of. That’s right, Mama’s got stuff to DO. Oh! You gettin’ nosy? You wanna know what it is? Well, you’ll just have to wait! Until then, please enjoy this collection of delightful oddities (brought to you by the one, the only… the Shopping Sherpa) and the short posts I have scheduled through Tuesday. Don’t miss me too much.

Seaweed isn’t just for sushi anymore, people. It’s also for art. And you know what? I think I like it. It certainly looks better than it tastes!

We’ve got another giveaway for you, kiddos, and boy is this one a doozy! Shannon Rankin and Justin Richel, the artists behind our last two giveaways, have teamed up to create some stunning artwork. Intersect is the name of their collaboration project. Pass is the name of the print (below) that you can win. WOW is the only word I have to describe it all. Just leave a comment to enter, but don’t forget these easy-peasy rules:
- Leave your first name and last initial (full names are encouraged, but not required).
- Leave a working email address (this will not be published). How else will I contact you if you win?
- You have one week to enter. This giveaway ends Sunday, February 21st at 11:59pm CST.
- You can increase your chances of winning just by telling someone else to enter! You’ll get an additional entry (no more than 20) for every person you refer — just make sure they leave your name in their comment.

Final print size: 11″ x 11″ (including a small white border)
Retail price: $25
