Now, should any of our preciously handmade save-the-dates not find their way to the intended destinations *gasp*, we certainly didn’t want them floatin’ around the country without knowing the way home. Enter: the return address. For efficiency and cute-ency, we snagged a custom address stamp from Note Trunk. We concluded that such a stamp is, most assuredly, the way to go. Quick, easy, and oh so preeetty!
As we mentioned before, we decided it was worth it to get a typewriter for addressing our save-the-date envelopes. We hoped that this would spare people our poor penmanship, but still be individual enough that the care and attention would be apparent with each card. Overall, I think that everything turned out exactly as we’d hoped. However, we did run into a few roadblocks.
We figure it’s time for a wedding update! We’re focusing now on the save-the-date cards, but before we show you everything, we wanted to get your opinion. As for the cards themselves, I can say that we’re doing them DIY-style. Each one is completely handmade and totally unique. I love them so much, so I want the packaging to be just as perfect. Which brings us to our current roadblock: addressing the envelopes.
[Editor's Note. Please go ahead and queue up the song at the bottom of the post. Think of it as the post's soundtrack.] Sarah and I want to keep everybody interested in our wedding even though it is more than a year away. So, we thought we’d tease you a little bit. Well, perhaps tease is the wrong choice of words. Sarah and I would like to give you a sneak peak at what we’ve been up to.
